Water Dispenser Lever, Types 2 & 3

Simplify dispensing water on select refrigerators with interior water dispensers with this Water Dispenser Lever - Type 2 & Type 3. Press a cup against the water drop icon on the lever to activate the water dispenser. Compatible with select GE refrigerators that have an interior water dispenser. Make sure your water dispenser looks identical to the one in the listing photos to ensure compatibility.

Note: This is a new design that has not had extensive testing. Please install and use with caution. If you have any issues with the item, please provide feedback. I am able to modify the design and provide replacements to fix any issues.

Installation is simple and requires no tools. See the short video in the listing photos for reference. Installation instructions with photos will be included with your purchase.

Installation Steps:
1. Remove the old water dispenser assembly by hand by lifting up on the bottom and pulling outward. Avoid using tools that could scratch the refrigerator.
2. (Type 2 only) Ensure the wires and wire connectors are tucked into the back of the dispenser cavity (as shown in the included instructions).
3. Fully insert the dispenser tube through the hole in the back of the new Water Dispenser Lever.
4. Push the top of the new Water Dispenser Lever against the wall of the refrigerator and slide up to engage the top clips.
5. Hinging from the top clips, rotate the bottom of the new Water Dispenser Lever against the wall of the refrigerator. Apply enough pressure on the new Water Dispenser Lever until the bottom clips engage. 
Note: The dispenser tube should extend slightly from the new housing. 

CAUTION: AFTER INSTALLATION, MAKE SURE THAT THE WATER DISPENSER DOES NOT ACTIVATE WHEN THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR IS SHUT.

Troubleshooting (Type 2 only): After installation, if the lever does not activate the dispenser or it takes excessive force to activate the dispenser, apply the included adhesive backed spacer strip as directed to fix this issue.
